I wear 8.5, which should have meant EU 39. I originally ordered EU 40 based on others reviews that they ran small. 40 was still too small; unbearably narrow and barely long enough. Went ahead and got 41... Slightly lose (width) but comfortably so. Really comfortable shoe, could wear these for days.

Like the Spring Step Orella sandal, I'd had several pairs previously and was delighted to find the Slide Sandal on Amazon as well. Spring Step makes unbelievably comfortable shoes, and I am again enjoying them immensely!

I bought the 6.5-7 size US and I am a very standard 6.5. It was a good size too small. This does NOT run by standard US sizes, so definitely get a size bigger or don't even chance buying on-line.
