The Adidas AdiPRENE+ sole is mechanically superior to any wedge I've ever had! The design is simply perfection!!! The heel is curved to prevent shock upon initial contact for each step. The wedge gives ever so slightly to absorb the shock of full body weight. Then, the toe curves upward to let you roll right through into the next step! I'm almost tempted to use these for running!!! LOL - just kidding...OH, I forgot to mention, I have arthritis and a bad back. Now, I can't bear to wear any of my other heels if I have to walk more than a few steps. This shoe sets the bar so high. I hope they will design more "high heel" styles with this technology. It's fabulous!!!I luv these so much that I just ordered my second pair of the same color. Wish it came in more colors with matching wedge color.Note: I wear the cross ankle strap (instep strap?? not sure what the proper terminology is, but its the one with the larger buckle in front of the ankle) quite tight for stability. This strap is what I look for when choosing a shoe that I will wear for function & stability instead of looks. But for casual wear, this shoe has both! Great with jeans or slacks.One more thing - I wear all my sandals with Pedag Deo-Fresh Insoles with Natural Cotton Terry and Sisal Fibers. I buy the size 6 for my size 7 sandals. They are hand washable and keep my feet dry. They need repositioning occasionally, but the slight inconvenience is well worth the comfort of dry feet!!!!

I got compliments the very first time I wore them. It's a very nice sandal for a person with narrow foot, but unfortunately they run very skimpy even when all straps are on maximum length.Otherwise, they are comfortable, light, the leather is soft and they give me a needed boost in height. :)

Great shoe! I have never worn Rockports and thought of them as old lady shoes. These look trendy and are amazingly comfortable. I stand 8 hours a day and can wear these all day.

I really like them. I have lymphedema in my ankles and find it almost impossible to find nice sandals for summer. These really worked for me, I did have to punch in some extra holes at the end of the straps to fit my wide girth around my instep, but it did the trick and the straps were just wide enough. I had to return four pairs of sandals before these arrived because the straps were not long enough to wrap around the biggest part of my instep. These straps did just make it. I did insert some soft inserts into the foot bed because I also have swollen toes because of my foot condition and the inserts make these very comfortable. I would buy these again next year too.Patty

Finding a comfortable and stylish shoe is very hard especially if you have wide feet. I do. This shoe slenderizes your foot and nothing digs into your foot in the front or back. The sole is rubber so that makes it comfortable to walk in the height is great not to high but high enough when you want to have a little sexy appeal :( I did not need to adjust any of the buckles but they are adjustable if you should need to. I wear a size 8 but due to the width of my foot I got an 8.5 and they fit like a glove with room to give. Yes they are leather not stiff but not soft just right! If they ever come in other colors like olive, burgundy I would purchase immediately. Yes they are Rockport but these do not look like old lady shoes as we may sometimes think of when we hear Rockport. Enjoy!

I have had multiple surgeries on my feet and still have metal fragments in the bone of the left foot that cannot be removed. That said no sexy stilettos for me. Sad. I do miss the added height and many long dresses and pants require that added lift. These are perfect. With the multiple adjustments can be adjusted to each foots comfort. I wear a 7.5 wide or a 8 medium. These fit perfectly. I love the Rockport quality as well.
