FitFlop Women's Sling Comber Leather Fisherman Sandal

Description

In 2007, Dr. David Cook and Darren James (biomechanists at London South Bank University LSBU) collaborated with Marcia Kilgore (an entrepreneur and multi-tasking mother) to create the world’s first muscle-activating flip flop: the FitFlop sandal. Built with simple, sporty looking straps and an ergonomically engineered Microwobbleboard midsole, the concept was a phenomenal, global success. So when fans began to send feedback detailing how fantastic FitFlop sandals made them feel, Kilgore decided to take this technology and weave it into a full, multi-occasion footwear collection. Now, boasting two patent-pending technologies (Microwobbleboard and Biomimetix midsoles) FitFlop’s goal is to create fun, energizing, beautiful shoes that, when you wear them, make you feel like you’ve got the world at your feet.

4 out of 5 stars Love these sandals; they run wide
JK

These are really comfortable sandals. I'd say they run wide, which is good for my wide feet. I would not recommend these for narrow feet. The footbed feels amazing! The sole is nice and thick, so I won't feel cobblestones in Europe or pebbles under my feet.I had some nerve pain in the balls and arches of my feet, but none whatsoever in these FitFlops. These were the only shoes that my feet could tolerate, while they were trying to heal from a compressed nerve problem. These are not exactly sexy shoes, but they at least don't look bad, given the comfort.07/01/2014 Update: I wore these around Europe, and the footbed is still really comfie, but one of the straps was literally cutting the top of my left foot (drawing blood). It might just be my feet. I didn't have this problem at first, because I was only wearing them for a couple hours at a time--but for long days on my feet, the top strap on that one sandal really bothered me.

These shows cushion my feet and feel very good. They fit slightly large but my feet are protected all around so I can adjust. I should have ordered them 1/2 size smaller, I think.

They seem to run big. The shoe is bulky but comfortable

Love the shoe in the size 7. It is so comfortable and has a nice style for casual wear. It is about as comfortable as a running shoe. Love it.
