the sandal look very cute,classy and expensive because it is...but it is very uncomfortable to wear. the leather is very hard and the thong feels painful between my big toe and the second toe. when i walk it keeps pushing in between i don't like wearing it at all. i won't return it like i planned to because of the hassle. but i won't recommend this sandals,it's not comfortable to wear no matter how nice it looks. i wouldn't buy it if i'm in d store...

I just had to stop by to write a review about these shoes after 2 years of purchasing them because my negative feelings for them are so strong. Struck by their simple elegance and seemingly comfortable style, I bought 2 pairs. However, they died quick. Reason was similar for both: the thong fell off as I was walking (quite embarrassing when this was in public). Because that happened to both of my pairs within about 1-3 months of wearing, I was convinced that it wasn't just a simple defect in one, but the problem of poor quality in general. And then the first problem I realized was, Oh, it was made in China! More importantly, the logic for the shoes just did not work: the sole was too heavy, and the surface was so smooth that your feet cannot get a good grip as you walk. Therefore, you must put more effort on your toes as you walk to have a firmer grip on the shoes. Not as comfortable as you think. And then the thong fell out. Wrong in many ways. I was quite disappointed in Born for a while after these products because it is usually such a reliable brand! For being expensive, I expected much more.

I always love Born shoes and have been wearing them for years. The size 10 is always a perfect fit. However, these shoes were awkward, clunky and just plain uncomfortable. The toe strap was too tight, yet the heel kept slipping out. There is little to no arch support. I would not recommend.

Loved the way this sandal looked, that's why I bought it. However, I was very disappointed in the fit. The fit of the base of the sandal is fine, it's the leather upper that didn't fit. It was too large and not adjustable. Also, not comfortable in between toes. Sent them back for a refund.

Cute, solid sandals. Normal width, not too narrow. The top is a little stiff, but it just needs breaking in.
